Annual Meeting is Required
The Bylaws of all cooperatives require that an Annual Meeting of Members is held once a year. Freeborn Mower Electric Cooperative's Annual Meeting is in the spring every year. Attending the Annual Meeting is a great way to be actively involved in your Cooperative.
The Annual Meeting is your chance to meet the Board of Directors and cooperative staff and learn about Freeborn Mower Electric Cooperative's plans for the future, as well as, member benefits and service programs.
Instead of voting for your Board of Directors in person at the meeting, the FMEC Bylaws allow member-owners to vote by ballot prior to the meeting. Look for your election ballot in the mail in February if your Director is up for election. Simply complete the ballot provided and enclose in the instructed envelope, then place in the FMEC addressed postage-paid envelope and mail.
The Annual Meeting is for you, our Members. We hope to see you there.
